What are fibroids?

Many women are nervous about undergoing fibroid surgery, but fibroid removal is usually a simple outpatient procedure. In most cases, you won't need to stay overnight at the hospital. You may need to rest for a few days and avoid heavy exercise for a few weeks, though.

Can fibroids affect my fertility?
