Our Commitment
Serving the community and thus our world is a personal commitment and not a corporate responsibility. Having a personal commitment to voluntarily offering one’s gifts to those who are in need, is one of the most selfless acts a person can give. From a personal perspective, volunteerism is a core guiding principle of both our physicians—thus our practice. We are committed to our people giving back small acts of kindness to the world in which we live. Below, please find some of our recent service projects:
Bethtephil Wellness Fair
In 2019 our physicians sponsored a Medical Mission Trip for our staff to Jamaica’s St. James Parish in order to host a community wellness fair. While there, our staff transformed the church offices of Bethtephil Baptist Church into a makeshift clinical facility complete with three exam rooms, nurse triage, and a laboratory. In addition to performing female wellness exams--including pap smears, breast exams, and free orders for mammography, they distributed bookbags with school supplies, diabetic care packages and various personal care items to nearly 200 people of the surrounding community.
