Lisa Marilyn Price, MD, is a compassionate OB/GYN at Dunwoody OB/GYN, LLC, in Dunwoody, Georgia. She provides personalized care for all women’s health care needs, from pregnancy to menopause.
Dr. Price was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, in the West Indies. After finishing her secondary education in Montego Bay, Jamaica, she moved to Newark, New Jersey to pursue post-secondary studies at Seton Hall University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in Chemistry. During her medical education rotation at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey, she attained Honors status in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and was awarded a doctorate in medicine. She served as administrative chief resident while completing her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
In 2005, Dr. Price moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to engage in private practice and continue her passionate pursuit of holistic female healthcare. In the summer of 2017, a kismet connection presented and after nearly 30 years of Dunwoody OB/GYN being a single physician practice, Dr. Price joined the family and created a joint venture consisting of two like-minded physicians committed to offering patients a traditional, hands-on personalized healthcare experience.
Dr. Price has fully credentialed privileges at Northside Hospital. In addition to her everyday medical practice, she is an active teacher, educator, and mentor to residents and medical students pursuing the obstetrics and gynecology specialty. Additionally, she is a dedicated medical missionary who devotes at least one week a year to a country in need of health care providers. She is a loving mother of one daughter and enjoys traveling with her. She is an aficionado of classical movies and enjoys swimming, reading, and cooking authentic Jamaican cuisine.
